Google's proprietary note-taking application is receiving an
important update today. Indeed, Google Keep v2.2.05 brings a few new
interesting features along with a revamped interface and some
performance improvements.
The first most notable change is the new yellow actionbar across the top of the app. This same actionbar will also change its color when you open a note, depending on what color you have set for this specific note. There's also a new slide-out navigation menu with multi-account selection like the one on the Google Play Store.
In addition to the updated interface, users can now search text on images. A new settings option has appeared, which allows users to select where lists and notes are placed. And a trash bin has also been added. The update also adds some other minor features as well as stability improvements and bug fixes, as usual.
Unfortunately, as always, the update is rolling out slowly, so you might not be seeing it on your device right now. But don't worry, if you haven't received the update via the Google Play Store yet, you can manually instal the new version of Google Keep by downloading and installing the .apk file on your device. To do so, just download the file via the link above and install it on your device like any other .apk.
